Our 4WD Tour and a close look at the fire

Australia Home

We went on an off-road tour from Misty Mountains 4WD This was one of the best parts of our trip. We were picked up at Windradyne and taken to areas of the park we would have never seen. We had the owner of the company as our guide, and Ken was full of information about the area and told non-stop hilarious stories. Ken took us to some Aboriginal sites to enjoy as well as the bush country.

If you have looked at the pictures of the Blue Mountains, they look fogged in. It's not fog, it's actually oil from the Eucalyptus trees. The valley is so full of the them that the oil they give off turns the entire area blue.
